Will we always pine after the iPhone from a distance? Even if the price is trimmed further to within my reach, it would still be tied to AT&T and can't be used on other networks. And so far there's no indication that it will ever get to Asian shores.

I heard iPhone is coming to Asia January 2008. But we do have the iClones available in China markets since July, according to a recent BusinessWeek article.
