Motorola's move to restructure the company and separate it's struggling mobile phone business from the successful broadband and mobility solutions unit, as announced by CEO Greg Brown, may give the beleaguered handset maker the opportunity to right its leaking ship.

What is Foxconn/Hon Hai waiting for? Given the largest ODM was eying true end to end control of a handset business a year or so ago; they only lack sales & Marketing clout, I would have expected them to feature. Maybe the astute Taiwanese looked and decided even the Mototrola brand wasn't worth buying?
