In India, the government has launched a "National Mission on Solar Energy" that seeks to tie the country's economic development to energy efficiency.

This is a good start for India to work on the country's economic development toward energy efficiency. Other countries in Asia can also think of other means to combat climate change. Using solar power reduces energy cost and a good option to jumpstart reliance on renewable energy resources.
