The government is launching a three-year initiative to boost technical education to improve the quality of education by expanding the capacity of institutions and creating new ones.

Investing in technical education can boost efforts in stabilizing industry-based knowledge database. This strengthens the foundation in bridging the gap between the academe and the industry. Budget for India's education system will be improved because of this initiative. I hope other Asian countries will follow this.
