"Consumers are demanding more information and entertainment from their vehicles, as well as increased safety, economy, and environmental responsibility." Whatever happened to falling in love with a car just because it is beautiful to behold? Desiring it for the sheer pride of ownership? And wanting it for the simple pleasure of driving?
