The large-scale photovoltaic demonstration project is now being prepared after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Energy Division, Prime Minister's Office and Mitsubishi Corp. in Brunei Darussalam.

With the partnership of Mitsubishi and Brunei's Energy Department in a solar project, this will be a grand venture that will certainly be backed by funds and innovative technology. Southeast Asian countries can benefit from this project by having an alternative power source from Brunei's giant PV plant.
