Apple and Microsoft spent unspecified millions in the design, development and introduction of the iPod, iPhone and Zune, but less attention was given by them to the basic components, sealing, USB protection and connector quality of the products, according to Rapid Repair.

Well, that's not at all strange, given that these companies, and many others, spend much more on marketing and having a stylish design while putting to much pressure, and insufficient funds, on/for hardware design. It surprises me what people can do for a stupid telephone. Waiting in line at 5am on a freezing cold winter morning? Come on, if you have your old whatever-brand cell phone and still works, you can spend 1 or 2 more days without the newest failed-design iPhone!!
