In the past few years, we have experienced a dramatic revolution in the number of electronic devices—cellphones, digital cameras, laptops, etc.— that we use in our everyday lives.

Indeed an electric field will affect humans in an adverse way, but what about the effect of magnetic fields in terms of electronic components? If power were to be transmitted via wireless, would there be electrical devices such as computers/laptops, WAPs, PDAs, etc... that would potentially malfunction? For as much power will be demanded, the level of source power being transmitted will need to be rather ample. For a device to create enough viable electric power, it will need to contain a relatively strong magnetic-electric converter. In this case, what if there were two devices placed near each other that were capable of transmitting wireless power? The results could lead to multiple drawbacks (EMPs, constantly changing electric fields, free/bound/induction currents, etc)... Although transmitting wireless power poses its conundrums, I'm certain that in time, we will manage to find ways to prevent the negative side-effects from occuring.
