Accelerometers in recent years have emerged as a critical input device for some of the world's hottest electronic products, causing shipments to boom, making them the top-selling MEMS device by 2013, according to iSuppli Corp.

Every tyre is expected to have 2 pressure sensors and even the low mobile is expected to have 2 accelerometers by 2013.
