I think this is a very logical move for Intel. Other companies, I think, should also maybe "Adjust" their marketing strategies by also "Hitting the reset button"! Too many companies, and I cite Microsoft as an example, keep charging forward to try and keep up with the competition. Instead they should sit back, maybe with a cool beer, and look at where they have been and adjust their thinking. You know what they say ..... "Hindsight is 20/20"! Microsoft has been historically producing product, without proper "In House" Beta testing for years. Several "Band-Aid's" are required to make a somewhat just adequate final product. I think in reality they also conform to another Engineering saying ..... "It takes several good Engineers to design a product..... It takes only one Cost Accountant to really screw it up". End of story!
