How to Convert MOD Videos to MP4 for iPod/iPhone/PSP/Zune/Sansa/Xperia/Archos?
About MOD
MOD is informal name of tapeless video formats used by JVC, Panasonic and Canon in certain models of digital camcorders.

As we know, the recording media for MOD format camcorder includes hard disk and solid-state memory cards, which adopts MPEG-2 video compression and MPEG-1 audio compression. Actually the file suffix MOD is marked on camcorder but changed to MPG or MPEG while imported to computer.


If you happen to use one of these camcorders, it is likely that you get a batch of video files in MOD file extension. At the same time, you may be annoyed to add MOD file to play on iPod/iPhone/PSP/Zune/Sansa/Xperia/Archos because most of players and portable devices can not accept the MOD format.
